Whoopee! Went to Footprints Camp in Trolak for 4 days and 3 nights...AWESOME!
On the 1st day...checked in and couldn't sleep cause jogging the next day and have to wake up at 5,00 am and prepare...and we can't be late or else...suffer the consequences...
Started jogging...we have to jog for like 7.5km...and the time limit was 1 hour...but i made it by +1 hour ...damn tired MUN! We have devotions after every jog....after that we had our sessions where we danced and sang...can't jump cause of the soreness ...LOL..
On the 2nd day...my jog improved a LITTLE bit..but its better than nothing...besides that we have everything almost the same...then in the afternoon we changed into our sports wear and off to the jungle...we passed a lake to fill our pails with water...O.o We reached the jungle and each team was lead into the jungle to their own bases...we have to make bullets by mixing flour and water and putting them in a plastic bag...we were THIS close to winning as the goal is to find the flag but got hit by the opponents cause I lost my way to the base and couldn't make it. Everyone was covered in flour. ^^Growth won! Then later...we were given an assignment which is doing a mind-map. We got Matthew... but they weren't enough English bibles..it took us a long time to finish...we did it till around 3.30am and we finally finished...Some of the groups took a longer time to finish.
We had less than 2 hours of sleep...and most of us came late for jogging on the 3rd day. The camp head was pissed. Later in the afternoon, before we went to the field to play, we have to go to the opposite lake that has algae and leeches and other things. Everyone went in. Majority with shoes on. After a while, it was getting colder. And one dude got bitten by some leech near the arm. He got out and after awhile. The camp commitees were like sitting there watching us whil e they relax and drank coffee. Lols. Later, we played Captain Ball, with our wet clothes on. The final teams were Resolute and Unravel. The game was very intense but in the end Unravel won! ^^ Then, the camp commitees challenged us all. We picked the best 7 out of all, and played against the camp commitees. If we win, we will jog for 2.5 km tmr. Boy, it was tough! It was a draw (0 to 0) so in the end, its 5 km.
Later that night, while we were in the hall, a pair was taken out from each group outside at the entrance. Then, the camp commitees gave a briefing on what was gonna happen. We were hostages, and they will send us to a place to hide around places which have 'spirits'...i think. Anyways, before we go, we were blind-folded and taped-on-the-mouth. They even took our torchlight, handphones, watches for safety precautions. AND whatever we do, never look up at trees.... We reached at a places near a buiding and we hide behind a few trees. We had to go down the slope and the grass was wet so i fell! Ouch! Damn! I waited so long it was starting to creep the hell out of me. Keep dozing off every now and then with nightmares! When cars passed by and didn't come and get us...oh man! There was one group that passed by and they look like they were looking at our direction. Unfortunately, they didn't notice us! :( So we waited even longer until a car FINALLY came. PHEW! They brought us back to the hall and it was 1200 midnight! There was 1 team that didn't follow the rules exactly so they bear the consequences while others slept... o.o
On the last day, we jogged in a group and with all the encouragement from my teammates...we made it and got THIRD place..we were THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSS close to getting fourth but we passed... YAY! So damn thirsty...later didn't bathe...pack our stuff...oh...and we got new contacts...which means more FACEBOOK friends! For our last session, it was kind of like a relaxation session...what the heck...I just dozed off easily...and when i woke up..one of my teammates couldn't get up even when they're shaking him...ahhahahahahaha lol... Around 11 something...went up the bus..Suann came out late and told us the camp commitees forced her to dance or she can't come up...should've stayed in there cause I missed it! Everyone said it was so AWESOME! Yet, she denied. Suann Suann Suann...face it, your way good, just accept it! :D
XD After that, we went to a few stalls near the train station and was back before the train arrived... Many were playing poker cards and a game called MAFIA.. O.o In the train, went to the back with Yae-Ber and Li Ling and Erina. Suann went in front to have a nap later. Erina told me during the relaxation session, they actually woke up earlier than me...wthell...feel so awkward...especially when I'm kind of in the middle...well...at least still got some other people teman me.... :P Adam Lai was taking pictures in the train of everyone sleeping. Luckily, I wasn't asleep... He basically tagged them all in Facebook! hahah..
After all that, until now I still miss Footprints Camp...A LOT! My new friends (miss them tons! its like I knew them for years) and the fun activities...feel so boring in the house. Can't wait for next year's Camp...WOO HOO! Better start packing! YIPPPEE! hahaha I will never forget this! :D
